Can't Deposit via Paypal

It's bad enough that certegy sets limits on my ACH transfers but now you have Paypal which each time I attempt to deposit says cannot process transaction to this merchant with your Business or Premier account please log in using your personal account. . I don't have either a business or premier account, I only have a personal account and there is no way out of this page.

I contacted support they told me to contact paypal. I contacted paypal and they said zero wrong with my paypal, its on the merchant which is you. I assume it's in the code or how you guys are set up with paypal.

I would love for this to be resolved asap

same exact issue here. Can we get someone to shed some light on this?

At the moment, PayPal has opted to limit transactions with gaming sites to only personal accounts. Business and Premier accounts are unable to deposit or withdraw from WSOP.com at this time.

You did not read my posts properly. I don't have a business or premier account. I only have a personal account. The problem lies with WSOP.com and PayPal .When we click on the PayPal link thru the cashier and try to complete the transaction on PayPal it states an error that we can't process transaction with Business or Premier account please sign into personal account. There is no way to get out of this page. It is a coding issue or a set up snafu between you and PayPal and it needs to be resolved asap.

PayPal obviously thinks you do have a Premier of Business account if that is the error that you're getting on the PayPal site. We only send over information about the transaction, nothing about your account status (i.e. we don't know what type of account you have or even if it's a valid PayPal account).

Your best bet is to contact support so they can gather your information and discuss with PayPal. They will be able to look at specific deposit requests and ask PayPal the reason for the decline.

Bill, I contacted your support and paypal. They each sent me to the other. Your own outsourced support says that many people have called with same issue. The error is in how you guys have it setup. I am not the only one having this issue. My paypal is set up and works perfectly fine. I use it regularly. I even use it for sites like Fan Duel, Amazon, private folks. WSOP.com is the only one with this issue.

It would not be a problem to use your PayPal on other sites. Amazon, private folks, etc. PayPal has specifically blocked Premier and Business accounts from sending or receiving payments from online poker and casino sites. That's why the error message you're receiving on PayPal's side makes sense if they think you have (or you actually do have) a Business or Premier account.

Have you contacted PayPal and asked them what kind of account you have? It's not obvious (anymore). Years ago they used to prominently display your account type in your summary section but they don't have that anymore.

Yes Bill I have. I confirmed it day 1. I did everything I can from my standpoint. Your support team and paypals have pointed the issue at WSOP.com Have you tried to make a deposit with paypal from a personal account?Wouldn't surprise me if that test account was a business one, thus creating the issue.

Not sure if CS followed up with you but we did call PayPal and confirmed that this was not a personal account. Not sure why PayPal told you otherwise when you confirmed on Day 1 but they are now saying that this is 100% why the deposit attempts are failing.
