Make daily $100 freeroll better

First, I must say thanks WSOP for the awesome daily $100 freeroll.

My complaint is that the tournament is too long. Yesterday, 9/17/2015, the tourney started at 7PM and ran more than 5 1/2 hours ending well past midnight.

There are many simple changes that could easily be made which would make the tourney shorter (which I believe everyone would prefer).

  1. Make smaller starting chip stack (maybe $1000 or $1500 instead of $2000)
  2. Make blinds increase faster (maybe every 5 or 7 minutes instead of 10 minutes)
  3. Reduce late registration (maybe 10 or 30 minutes instead of 60 minutes)

The few times I've placed, I was thoroughly whipped.

Agreed its a nice gesture and a time killer - so cant really complain, but the suggestions you made would help speed it up...and probably help avoid people starting the tournament recklessly (shoveshoveshove)

There was already a thread on this but my take is make these turbos with 3k starting stacks they'll run around 2 - 2.5 hours, and yeah if they're turbos late registration should end after 30 min.
